I am Peter Carlsson, a third-year Industrial Design student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I pair my passion and dedication to design with a deep interest in sociological studies, as I believe sociology and studying human patterns give the context that product design requires. I have always grown up around design, from constructing wooden products in my basement in elementary school to carrying out that same curiosity on a much larger level. I constantly push myself to grow in my design skills, inside and outside the classroom, seeking opportunities to deepen my technical skillset and expand my understanding of what meaningful design can look like.
